Australian women’s cricket is pretty great right now. This week sees the first women’s international test match between any nation in over two years with the Ashes happening between Aus and England.
Australia’s first innings has been a memorable one with Ellyse Perry batting her way to a mighty 213 runs, the highest individual score by an Australian woman in test match cricket, and only the seventh time a 200+ score has been seen in women’s cricket, ranking as the third-highest individual score of all time. Yew!
