The internet is a beautiful, beautiful place today because it’s full of things like this:

Male tears are flowing because the next Doctor Who is going to be — DUN-DUN-DUUUUN!!! — a woman. After 54 years and 12 male leads, Jodie Whittaker will be taking on the role of the 13th Time Lord. Fuck. Yes.
The BBC shared the news (which might actually make us watch Doctor Who for the first time ever) via this atmospheric teaser trailer:

The Doctor is a magically regenerating time-travelling alien, so adding ‘female’ into the equation isn’t very far-fetched… Right guys?!? WRONG! We’re still living in the patriarchy, so naturally, this news has started a war between the sexist internet and the feminist internet.
And again the PC brigade get their way.
R.I.P Doctor Who

Imagine one of your favourite shows but with someone of the opposite gender playing your favourite character(s). Hell.

So even Dr. Who has capitulated to the Leftist social agenda and cast a woman as the Doctor. Now watch the ratings tank like never before.

Her: Hi. I’m The Doctor.
Him: Doctor…so? Is that like a nurse?

In an interview with the BBC, Whittaker urged fans not to freak out over her gender.
“I want to tell the fans not to be scared by my gender. Because this is a really exciting time, and Doctor Who represents everything that’s exciting about change. The fans have lived through so many changes, and this is only a new, different one, not a fearful one,” she said.
It’s pretty clear who’s winning here, but it’s also kind of depressing that anyone’s having to womansplain that a female Doctor is a cool thing.
