Black-ish actress, comedian, and budding children’s book author Tracee Ellis Ross did a live reading of her new book on Jimmy Kimmel this week. Called The Handsy Man, the book is designed to teach confused men what consent is. Before she started the reading, Ellis Ross told the audience:

“[The Hollywood sexual harassment scandal] isn’t a sex scandal. It isn’t a Hollywood scandal. It isn’t even a scandal. It’s a systemic problem about the abuse of power that takes place across all industries and has enabled a culture of iniquity to persist for far too long.”

“While I’m not totally surprised by these stories, it seems like quite a few men are,” she continued. “So I wrote a book.”

The rhyming book is inspired by Dr. Seuss classic Green Eggs and Ham and features choice rhymes like: “You may not compliment my butt. You may not call me ‘ho’ or ‘slut’. And even if you’re stoned or drunk, do not expose me to your junk.”
